As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our team and contribute to our success.

Job Description:
As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate shipment of products to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Shipping Documents: Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
  • Handling the process of import consignments from start to finish in a 360 capacity.
  • Handling / Booking of shipments with airlines and overseas offices
  • Completing customs clearances.
  • Providing quotations to clients for import and cross trade requests
  • Cover overtime as and when required - negotiable.
  • Communication: Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipping operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries related to shipping and delivery.
  • Responsible for arranging the transport for import shipments sea freight & Air freight from the Sea & airports , custom clearance and onward delivery to the pack house
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Forklift certification (if applicable) is a plus.
